Terms of service

The agreement between you and OfflineAlert when you use this website or ask for alerts.

Who we are

OfflineAlert is an independent visa-appointment alert service. Contact: hello@offlinealert.com.

What the service is

OfflineAlert watches the public appointment calendars of visa application centres in the UK and Ireland and tells you, on the channel you choose, when appointment slots appear for the countries you choose.

With booking help, we book an appointment for you on the official portal, using the details you give us for each applicant.

What the service is not

We do not hold, buy or resell appointments, and we do not complete or submit your visa application or documents. We do not give immigration or legal advice.

OfflineAlert is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for VFS Global, TLScontact, BLS International, any government, embassy or consulate. Appointments are made on the official portal, and official fees are always paid directly to the body that charges them — our prices never include them.

Prices and payment

Slot alerts: £20 for one country, or £55 for all countries (2 countries are £40). Paid once, by card through Stripe, when you ask for them. The alerts run until you get your appointment or ask us to stop.

Booking help: £89 for a booking. Nothing is paid up front. We ask for payment only once your appointment is confirmed; if we cannot book one, you pay nothing.

Prices include any VAT that applies. Official visa and visa-centre fees are separate and paid to those bodies.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel within 14 days of paying. If you asked us to start straight away and alerts have already been sent, we may keep a fair amount for what you have had; otherwise we refund you in full. Email hello@offlinealert.com to cancel.

If we stop the service before you have your appointment, we will refund the alerts you paid for. This does not affect your statutory rights.

No guarantee

Visa centres decide when appointments exist and who gets them. An alert means we saw availability at that moment; slots can be taken within minutes. We do not promise that you will receive every alert, that an alert will arrive in time, that booking help will find an appointment, or that you will get a visa. The appointment calendar on the official portal is always the final word — check it before you act.

Your part

Give us contact details you are entitled to use, and keep them up to date. Use the alerts for yourself and the people you are applying with. Do not misuse the website — for example by trying to break it, overload it, or scrape it — and follow the official portal's own terms when you book.

Stopping alerts

You can stop alerts at any time by replying STOP, telling us on an alert call, or emailing hello@offlinealert.com. We may stop or change the service, or stop sending alerts to someone who misuses it; if we stop the service altogether we will tell you.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Because it depends on calendars we do not control, we are not responsible for losses caused by a missed, late or inaccurate alert, by a visa centre's decisions, or by events outside our reasonable control. If something goes wrong because of us, our liability is limited to what you paid us for that request.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Please tell us first if something has gone wrong (see Complaints) — most things can be put right quickly.

We may update these terms; the version on this page, with its date, is the one that applies.
